Cheaper Print Solution for Export Documents Online |

A disadvantage of the current print solution for Export Documents Online (EDO) is the costs. Customers need to invest in an HP printer, special printer software and a firewall to enable remote printing by EDO.
Recently, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce approved a new print solution for EDO which will solve this problem. The solution uses a locally started Java applet to regulate and control the printing process. In this case, no special HP printer or software is needed. Any printer with a two-sided or duplex option can be used. Companies who want to print their colorful logos on export documents via EDO can use their own color printers.
The new print solution is also secure, as the print process of EDO is similar to standard printing from local office applications.
Due to the cost reduction of this new print solution, EDO now is profitable for almost all companies using export documents, even for companies that are creating less than one document per week.
