The Collaboration Components enable companies to seamlessly work together with partners in the supply chain. The Ordering functions support validation of customer orders against agreed criteria. Also, customers get order visibility from order acceptance to proof of delivery. The Planning is based on configured process flows depending on the order type. Forthcoming work orders are released to internal departments, purchase orders are placed at suppliers and transport bookings are made with carriers. During Execution the Collaboration Components capture the status updates from the different parties involved. Also, automatic alerts can be sent to confirm milestones or to notify about exceptions. The Reporting module supports online KPI reports on the supply chain performance, per customer, supplier and carrier, via websites, e-mails and documents. The Billing steps include the validation of supplier/carrier invoices and the creation of customer invoices, based on agreed service rates and actual service delivery.
