MP Objects enters Logistica Award 2006 competition with Distribution Management Agents |

Using innovative software-agents from MP Objects, the logistics sector can increase efficiency significantly.
Too often shipments don't arrive according to plan, or too many planners need to ensure correct handling of shipments. The newly developed Distribution Management Agents change all that. Each shipment is assigned a personal agent, that keeps record of all shipment data, finds possible paths and chooses the best carriers. These smart helpers full of mathematical formulas combine customer requirements, carrier possibilities, speed, and, last but not least, costs. Next to the obvious advantages to the users, this is an excellent example of high-tech software development for logistics from Dutch soil: from mainport to brainport!
