XXXMP Objects | Beyond standard solutions

A group of 25 MBA students from Iowa, USA, traveled through Western-Europe with two professors. In Rotterdam, they got acquainted with Information Technology for Supply Chain Management.

MP Objects hosted a great event for a group of 25 MBA students from Iowa, USA, and two of their professors. The students were both full-time and part-time MBA students, most of them specializing in Supply Chain Management. Our guests were on a 12-day study tour throughout Europe, learning from global businesses. Their objectives included:

· Understanding competitive issues in Europe

· Appreciating cultural differences between countries

· Understanding supply chain and marketing issues in other countries

· Observing manufacturing processes in multiple businesses

· Identifying differences in marketing approaches in multiple locations

MP Objects facilitated an interactive session on the city of Rotterdam, the company MP Objects, and Supply Chain Technology. Issues discussed include our full range of software solutions, like interfaces, portals and agents. The group also visited the Aalsmeer Flower Auction, Caterpillar in France and Belgium, and SAP and BASF in Germany. Then their trip continued to Munich, where they visited Avon Corp, Tyco, Infinion and BMW. We are proud to be in this group of companies, adding a flavor of supply chain technology and innovation to the program.
